QUICK TEASE FROM PEDRO’S BAY

It’s a riddle, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a mystery, wrapped in tinfoil. No it’s not a kebab, silly. It’s the new trailer from Vissla, their first since Dream Steeple. What’s unique about their latest offering, is the storytelling – a sprawling paradise of fruit trees, toucans and tubes await the likes of Bryce, Brendon and Derrick to skip to their heart’s content! All narrated from a big colourful picture book by an omnipresence that might actually be Gandalf. But make no mistake, this ain’t Middle Earth… Orcs live there. And besides, Pedro’s Bay is far too clever – with all the charm and whimsy of a Maurice Sendak epic. Surfers are starved for good stories, and true to their homegrown nature, Vissla have cropped up a beauty. If the teaser is anything to go by, there’ll be planks, there’ll be shorties, and Bryce Young folding his bones up like a deckchair into the most ridiculous lookbacks you ever did see! Enchantment is the new eclectic.
