Inner Atlas: An Eye on an Eye

Photographer Trent Mitchell is one of the nicest and humblest blokes in surfing and in this short film by Robert Sherwood, we get a beautiful and insightful look at what it takes to put together a collection, in this case, TM’s “Inner Atlas.”

The portrait series “celebrates the human spirit through movements of the sea in a forgotten and unfamiliar space” and also showcases TM’s natural understanding of the way the ocean moves.

“What we see and how we feel are two different things. If I could bridge that gap with pictures, to capture that energy, that’s hitting the mark for me,” explains TM.
