Morgan Maassen’s ‘Jungle’ Will Make You Wonder

It’s a rare treat when Morgan Maassen has a sift through the hard-drive. And whooo-boy did he find some gold on that hot chip!

For those unacquainted, we’ll tell you this – Morgan is a surf shooting virtuoso, whether it be stills, sequences, or even sentences. (Says this SW chimp from his typewriter).

What’s special about his latest vista however, is the fact that it almost might never have happened! But it did. It happened while Morgan was tying up the loose ends, as one does before venturing to some far-flung locale. All it took was a whim, to drag Morgan’s mouse into some long lost folder, unearthing all the previous shots from previous trips for the previous clients who call upon the trigger man.

And what he’s shot is a stunning 17 minutes from archival footage, entitled “Jungle”. It features Dane Reynolds, Stephanie Gilmore, Noa Deane, Sterling Spencer, Dillon Perillo, Rob Machado, Laura Enever, Alessa Quizon, Bella Nicols, Nat Young, Andrew Doheny, Marlon Gerber, and Lee Wilson. Not that this film requires the name drop, but it’s an impressive assortment no less. Watch on as this mixed bag skittle their way through California, Mexico, Nicaragua, Barbados, Maldives, Bali, Mentawaiis, Australia, and France…
