Shore breaks are cruel and unforgiving beasts. Luring you in with their siren song of throaty tubes a stones throw from the shore.
They then quickly chew you up and spit you out with a snapped board, busted nose and leave you pumping sand out of your ears and rectum for the following several weeks.
However, it seems Kolohe and friends threw caution to the wind in terms of rectal sand dredging and successfully danced with this beautiful shore break during a recent pulse of swell hitting America’s west coast.
